A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $65-70 per hour.. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
Position Summary:
Collaboratively support the Operational Resilience Program, with a focus on business continuity planning activities for a new operating site, by working with the facility’s project team and the business leads to assess processes, define criticality, and develop/update business impact analyses (BIAs) and business continuity plans (BCPs).
Principal Responsibilities:
Lead the build-out of the business continuity structure for a new operating site by driving the following activities:
- Support platform development for hosting BCPs, BIAs, and Emergency Response Plans.
- Leverage the existing framework to conduct process mapping for the site and assess processes for criticality.
- Align with company standards for developing the framework and building out BCPs.
- Assist business leads with BIA and BCP development and completion, including providing guidance on navigating within the planning software.
- Conduct meetings with business leads to review BIAs and BCPs and identify areas of opportunity to strengthen resiliency.
- Complete BIA and BCP approvals, conducting a comprehensive review prior to any approval to ensure all information has been completed in full.
- Assess BIA and BCP data to identify overall resilience needs for the site.
Qualifications:
- Preferred 3+ years of BCP experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation/facilitation capabilities.
- Ability to work across all levels of the organization, including senior management.
- Eager to learn new concepts and new technology/software.
- Critical thinking and analytical competence.
- Ability to think quickly, respond to changing demands, anticipate future problems, and recommend preventive courses of action.
