     Position Summary:
     
    This position provides high level expertise and is responsible for the architectural design, development, and implementation of business applications for the Credit Union. This role understands the business objectives, processes, and products and how best optimize support by technology. Collaborates on application design with internal stakeholders and application development teams. Implements and monitors application development stages and documents the application development processes. Oversees the teams’ evaluation and testing of functionality of additional tools, application hotfixes, or new version releases. Supports the user community by serving as the application support expert on the enterprise solution (Fiserv DNA).
     
     
     Essential Functions:
     
    Provides high level guidance for problem management and resolution of difficult technical issues and architectural design of business applications. Supports the user community by serving as the application support expert on the enterprise solution (Fiserv DNA). This includes expert knowledge of the DNA database structures, capabilities, and functionalities of the enterprise solution. 
     
    Designs and delivers solutions utilizing DNA and other applications that will meet the organization’s strategic objectives. Understands the business objectives, processes, and products and how best can be supported by technology. Coordinates and interacts with team members, key users, and project sponsors within other business units to fully utilize the DNA databases to provide impactful information to grow loan and deposit balances as well as provide meaningful insight on the Credit Union’s membership base.
     
    May perform any of the technical responsibilities and duties of any of the Application Support roles. Interviews for resources .
     
    Oversees the teams’ evaluation and testing of functionality of additional tools, application hotfixes, or new version releases. Oversees technical work and guides, directs, and trains junior staff members. Provides input for reviews of junior staff. Creates checklists and updates policies and procedures for team. Suggests priorities for departmental work plan load.
     
    Knowledgeable about trends in information technology and alerts management to concerns or opportunities that arise. Provides documentation, training, and support to the organization. Pursues opportunities to develop technical and functional expertise. Assists management in creation of budget, application support plans, and determining required software upgrades. 
     
    Creates project/program work plans for dependent projects. Suggests project prioritization based on objectives and priorities. Determines technical resource requirements based on business needs. Performs other duties as assigned. 
     
     Qualifications:
     
    3+ years of experience in leading increasingly complex technical projects.
     
    Expert knowledge of application support administration.
     
    Expert ability to troubleshoot difficult problems.
     
    Able to program at an expert level using shell script tools.
     
    Advance knowledge in designing, building and maintaining APIs.
     
    Expert knowledge of Fiserv DNA preferred
     
    Excellent user support skills.
     
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
     
    Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, web browsers and e-mail.
     


A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $48/hr – $54/hr. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
