We are looking for a Licensed Therapist Counselor Associate (LPC-A, LMFT-A, LMSW) for our clinic in San Antonio, TX to be a part of our dynamic team of psychologists, therapists and registered dietitians. Licensed Therapist Counselor Associates not only help our clients reach their full potential, but they also play a key role in the continued success and future growth of our organization.

Next STEPS passionately believes in a multidisciplinary team approach within an outpatient office setting. Our team consists of licensed psychologists, therapists, dietitians, and provider support specialists who collaborate regularly to offer the highest level of client care possible to ensure client success.

Headquartered in McKinney, Next STEPS currently has 27 locations across Texas with 17 locations throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, 4 locations in San Antonio, 4 locations in Austin and 2 locations in the Houston area with more locations in various cities opening soon.

Role and Responsibilities for Licensed Therapists Counselor Associates (LPC-A, LMFT-A, LMSW):

• Provide individual/family sessions appropriate to client needs

• Attend and participate in treatment planning meetings and clinical meetings

• Display professionalism in dealing with customers, staff, and clinicians

• Has experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions

• Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy methods

• Commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a highly interactive multidisciplinary clinic

Minimum Qualifications for Licensed Therapist Counselor Associates (LPC-A, LMFT-A, LMSW):

• Must be licensed as an LPC-A, LMFT-A, or LMSW in the State of Texas

• Associates welcome

• Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and APA standards as it relates to client treatment, patient rights, and client/patient confidentiality

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Education equivalent to a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university

• Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy

Compensation for Licensed Therapist Counselor Associate (LPC-A, LMFT-A, LMSW):

• Salary from $45,000.00

• $2,500 Signing Bonus
