Junior Operations Associate – Driver Management

Location: Remote US Employment 

Contract Duration:  3 – 4 months (40 hrs/week) 

Contract Type:   W2 through Staffing Supplier

Pay Rate:   $25 - $28/hr

 

Job Overview 

 

The Junior Operations Associate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of our large order driver network. This includes recruiting, onboarding, and coordinating drivers, as well as optimizing logistics to improve efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Driver Recruitment & Onboarding: Source, screen, and recruit new drivers to meet business demands. 
  • Assist in conducting interviews and onboarding sessions. 
  • Ensure all drivers meet standards and compliance requirements. 
  • Daily Logistics & Operations Management: Monitor driver schedules, availability, and assignments to optimize efficiency. 
  • Address and resolve driver-related issues in a timely manner. 
  • Maintain real-time tracking and reporting of driver performance and operational metrics. 
  • Coordination & Support: Act as the primary point of contact for driver inquiries and concerns. 
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth transportation operations. 
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance driver logistics. 

 

Qualifications & Skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred). 
  • 1-2 years of experience in operations, logistics, transportation, or driver management (internships included). 
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and operations management tools. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
