Project Manager – Merchant Strategy and Operations

Location:   Remote USA

Contract Duration:  6 months 

Contract Type:   W2 through Staffing Supplier

 

What you'll do 

  • Monitor and report progress across critical workstreams: Oversee project trajectory, systematically tracking milestones (via Gantt chart) and outcomes, while producing detailed weekly progress reports. 
  • Synthesize Comprehensive Documentation: Produce high-level summaries and strategic reports that effectively capture key achievements, challenges, and forward-looking plans, with a focus on clear and impactful presentation 
  • Coordinate Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison among cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and timely follow-up on action items. 
  • Evaluate Program Success: Define and measure key performance metrics, working with Analytics team to ensuring project objectives are met. Summarize and report out on key program insights 
  • Provide Ad Hoc Support: Assist with various tasks, including research & report creation, as needed to support team objectives outside of regular project management responsibilities 
  • Strong Analytical Acumen: Possess a solid understanding of analytics, with the ability to interpret experiment results, analyze data trends, and leverage tools like SQL to extract actionable insights.

  • You are an efficient operator who likes to move quickly and proactively when assigned new projects

  • You are interested in customer-facing roles and feel comfortable conversing with them in both verbal and written forums 
  • You are a clear verbal and written communicator and can display this from day one 
  • You are confident operating in Google Sheets and creating professional reports in Google Docs 
  • You are an owner, always looking for opportunities to learn and better your work product 
  • You are comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly changing team-oriented environment and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously 

 

Nice to Have Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Have 3+ years of experience in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, or growth. 
  • High-growth or early-stage startup experience is a plus.
  • Intermediate excel and SQL is a plus 
  • Basic modeling experience (e.g., inventory management, forecasting) 
  • Strong work ethic with an ability to work 40 hours per week 
  • Prior experience working with Google Suite

 

 

A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $70 – $80/hr. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
